Girls Day Out '10!
Nine anxious ladies loaded into their ride for the day…a stretch suv limo that was going to drive them safely to Toronto and back again! Their first stop, a quick pit stop in Newmarket for a loo break and some morning beverages to be enjoyed with sconces and cookies Interiors by Cindy provided!
But, the really exciting stop they were looking forward to…Kimberley Seldon’s Designer Market Sale being held at the Distillery District, downtown Toronto. We quickly rushed to get in line to enter a showcase sale of amazing products for our home…fabrics, pillows, wall décor, pictures, frames, antique pieces, original art and for us…jewelry, chocolate, handbags, skin care products and more.
The highlight for me while there was meeting Kimberley Seldon prior to her speaking on “Small Space Design”! She is funny, beautiful & full of energy…I had my photo taken with her and was thrilled to tell her of our Girls Day Out to come and see her and shop at her sale. She was interested and announced to everyone over the loud speaker that ladies from Belleville had come by limo…it was very cool being interviewed by Kimberley Seldon, a lady I respect!
After shopping and our visit with Kimberley, a few of us went to Café Uno for a fabulous fresh pressed gourmet sandwich & a chat about what we saw so far! After lunch it started to rain a bit so we dodged in and out of all the great shops in the Distillery District, so much to see!
At our agreed time we met at the limo and headed to our next stop…the William Ashley Sale! Here we continued to shop great deals for home décor and of course I bought more dishes…little white bowls, I thought would be great for a trio starter idea I am planning for our next dinner party!
With all our shopping loaded into the limo and a nice surprise gift for all of us from the owner of the William Ashley Sale…we headed east, back home!
On our ride back we enjoyed Goodie Bags & Wine (Girls Night Out) supplied by Interiors by Cindy, some munchies provided by the Executive Limo Services and a lot of laughs about our Great Day Out! Looking forward to doing it all again in the fall…details coming soon!!
